University of Nebraska-Lincoln physicists have gotten a huge boost in their research into the building blocks of the universe. They will lead a team from eight universities in a five-year study funded by an 11-point-5 Million dollar National Science Foundation grant. UNL Physicist Aaron Dominguez says the grant confirms the research the university has ben conducting for the past 10 years. The money will be used to upgrade the accelerator used in Switzerland to mimic the beginning of the universe.
