Carhenge named one of the Ten Best Quirky landmarks

A western Nebraska attraction has been named one of the quirkiest landmarks in the country. The Carhenge, which sits about 2½ miles north of Alliance, claimed third place in USA Today's 10 Best: Quirky Landmark contest. Kevin Howard is the director of the Alliance Vistors Bureau. The Carhenge, which consists of a series of 38 vintage American cars, painted gray to mimic the famous British attraction Stonehenge, went up against 19 other odd ball attractions that liter the country in a feverous four weeks of online voting.
